Is it possible that Christianity has largely misunderstood the character of God? Is there another way that can be reasonably explained from the book that claims to represent Him?


In this volume is found the culmination of a sixteen year search for light on these questions. The journey began when I was reminiscing about the birth of my first son. I thought on the moment I first held him in my arms and the deep sense of love I felt for him. To have a taste of such divine emotions brought me into an encounter with God that impressed upon me the thought that the feelings I had for my son were an expression of God’s love for His Son and consequently His earth born children.

If God did know absolutely everything would this not mean that He knew that man would fall into sin before He created him. If God knew this then wouldn't he be responsible for evil? Divine Risk explores the possibily that God does operate in the realm of risk in certain areas. The idea that God created the human race knowing that it would fall into sorrow, misery and death is a great turn off for many people. This book offers a fresh perspective on the subject
